Wedding Packages

All wedding packages, with 4 or more hours of photography coverage, include the following:

• Preparation photos and altar coverage at the wedding location.


• Full formal ceremony and altar coverage at the wedding location


• Complete reception coverage

If more or less coverage is desired, we can arrange photography to meet your needs. As little as 2 hours of photography can be provided, and that at a very reasonable cost. While our candid approach provides a uniqueness to the event, we do not neglect the standard traditional poses. Approximately one-third of your album is composed of the expected formal shots. Even then, however, we encourage a relaxed shooting environment, perhaps best exemplified by our policy of allowing family and friends to take photographs. We also take any additional pictures the bride and groom desire. This is a great time to take any family pictures you may want.

The minimum number of photos included in your wedding album is 120. All wedding packages include a choice of three wedding albums (with the exception of the picture-only package). Wedding albums are usually completed within 4 weeks.

Actual wedding coverage begins 1/2 hour before the ceremony; however, formal wedding pictures can be taken as early as one and one-half hour before the ceremony.

We take pride in our ability to blend our services with your activities during the hectic moments before your wedding. In accomplishing our task, we try to hold a low profile, but we also offer any assistance required — from keeping the bridal party organized to pinning on corsages.

Regular Prices

Whatever your budget, we will work with you to provide wedding photography that is affordable. Wedding packages start at $1025 for up to 4 hours of coverage at the standard rate.

Photos of the rehearsal dinner may also be arranged at standard hourly rates.

Outdoor bridal portraits may be taken several weeks in advance of your wedding at a local park or other location of your choice.  These photographs make a beautiful addition to your photo memories.  The cost for bridal portraits varies with location and time.

Special Features

• Based in the Clear Lake area, we photograph weddings in a variety of locations around Texas as well as out of state.


• When photographing your wedding, we use professional 35-mm, medium format and digital cameras. Each system works independently of the others. In this way we can ensure capturing each special photo without delay.


• All film is processed and printed locally at a custom laboratory. We do not send original wedding negatives and film out of state.

The Big Advantage

You Keep the Negatives

A significant advantage in selecting Mike Rushing Photography is that your wedding package includes the negatives to your photos. All digital photos taken are included on a CD. These are yours to keep for future photo needs.

In many cases our customers prefer that we handle their additional photo needs, providing reprints or enlargements as additional requirements arise.  We are pleased to provide this service at a reasonable cost. In this way you can avoid the inconvenience of trips to and from the photofinisher.

Quality Enlargements – Although your negative are given to you as a part of your wedding package, we are happy to provide you with quality enlargements at a reasonable cost.
